How do we go about fixing the South African economy?

The third installment of the much-anticipated State Capture Commission of Inquiry’s report has just been made public after first being handed over to President Cyril Ramaphosa. It laid bare the level of corruption which has plagued our government departments at the expense of the country’s economy.

But South Africans are resilient. There are many good people who still want this country to rise from the ashes, despite the selfish and corrupt who only want to benefit themselves.

So how do we go about on this mammoth task which lies ahead?

Join us at Innovation City on Thursday 10 March from 4-6pm, as we host entrepreneur and private investor Rob Hersov, as well as business and macroeconomics analyst Phumlani Majozi, and get their thoughts on how we can fix this broken economy of ours.

The discussion will be chaired by Mmusi Maimane, the former federal leader of the Democratic Alliance who later formed the One South Africa Movement in 2020, and most recently announced his journey into the business world.
